From me PS3 it is occupied very much by great volume of calculations and with a view of protection against loss of the data I have connected UPS through USB.
But the driver do not see the device as there are no files of devices/dev/usb/hiddevXX.
Guidelines from a site http://www.apcupsd.com/ have not helped
